Dr. Anna Purdum is currently VP of Global Market Access at Orca Bio, where she is responsible for the development and execution of all strategic and tactical market access initiatives for its lead asset, Orca-T–including overarching access strategy, evidence generation, payer value proposition, plus pricing & contracting strategies.
Prior to this role, Dr. Purdum was Head of the US Value & Access at Kite managing an inline US Market Access Field Team; Value, Access & Pricing Team; and Kite Konnect, a Patient Support Services & Operations Team--representing 45 FTEs. Other previous roles at Kite include Executive Director of Global Market Access & Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research, and Head of GHEOR. She has held many market access and medical affairs roles with increasing responsibilities over the past 20+ years at major pharmaceutical companies including Pharmacia/Pfizer, Genentech/Roche, and Bristol Myers Squibb.
She received a BS in pharmacy from Drake University, a PharmD from the University of Illinois, and a MS from the University of Southern California in Health Economics and Policy while serving as a fellow. Dr. Purdum is a former USC Alumni Board member, an AMCP diplomat for Drake University School of Pharmacy, and past VP of Communications for the National Charity League, Westside Chapter. She lives in Pacific Palisades with her husband, Jim and has two adult children, Henry, 24 and Chelsea, 22.
