About me
With a focus on and passion for improving patient outcomes and in strong partnership with external experts and community stakeholders, Becca has spearheaded the Sanofi Neurology Public Affairs team in support of the development of best-in-class medicines that slow or halt neurodegeneration, control neuroinflammation and protect or even repair the nervous system.
Under Becca’s leadership, the company has prioritized community impact by putting advocacy relations at the core of its long-term strategy and strengthening external engagement in forms relevant to the unique needs of the patients Sanofi serves. Becca’s work directly supports global initiatives to improve innovation, diagnosis, access and care for people living with neurological awareness / engagement and improve public acumen of key scientific concepts to help communities better understand and explain how diseases work.
Specifically, Becca seized the opportunity to help re-shape the landscape of MS understanding and drove development of a multi-year, unbranded multi-channel awareness campaign - "Word of the Week; reaching more than 3.4 million people and resulting in 10,000 link clicks to critical community resources.
Becca regularly represents the company in congress, industry, advocacy and community interactions. She has been with Sanofi for nearly ten years, and previously held positions with the Respiratory team, helping to initiate ‘The Next Breath Challenge’ and the creation of policy and advocacy key roadmaps.
Prior to joining Sanofi, Becca held several increasingly senior positions across national non-profits and communications, including nearly 13 years with the National MS Society.is committed to elevating and empowering other women in the space and is a member of the WISE network at Sanofi. She can speak to how to effectively co-create platforms for impact in patient communities by listening, learning and acting - as well as how she is harnessing her seat at the table to translate ideas into results to unlock better care for people living with neurological diseases across the world.
Becca holds a BA from Cornell University, and is an active New England Board Member of Generation Citizen, which empowers students to advocate for change through civic action.
