Jakub Pijewski, PhD, is a seasoned commercial leader in the pharmaceutical industry with background in business development, brand strategy, and therapeutic area management. Currently serving as the VP of Commercial Strategy and Business Development at GSK US, Jakub has built a new team to identify local business development opportunities and introduce innovative approaches to product commercialization, data, and AI. Previously, Jakub held various commercial roles at AbbVie and Novartis, leading Therapy Areas and Brand Teams across US, Japan and Global. He started his career at McKinsey & Co in Germany, focusing on Pharma and Finance. Jakub holds a PhD in Biology & Computer Science and has completed executive education at The Wharton School.
