Jolan Terner-Rosenthal, PhD, is a Medical Affairs leader with more than 20 years of experience at large and small global biopharmaceutical companies. Dr. Terner-Rosenthal currently serves as Executive Director, Publications at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, a rare disease-focused company based in the San Francisco Bay Area where she leads the team responsible for the development and execution of the company’s publications strategy across its growing rare disease pipeline. She has prior experience at Alexion, Allergan (now AbbVie), Avanir, and Forest Laboratories (now AbbVie). Earlier in her career, she served in program development and as a medical writer at ACCESS Medical Group. Throughout her career, Dr. Terner-Rosenthal has been responsible for developing the Medical Affairs strategy at companies across numerous therapeutic areas, and she has had the opportunity to lead various disciplines throughout Medical Affairs including publications, scientific communications, training, and field medical (MSL). She has also been an author/co-author on nearly 100 presentations and publications throughout her career.
Dr. Terner-Rosenthal has a PhD in psychology and neurobiology and an MS in biological psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also has a BS in biological psychology from The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
