About me
Dr. Ramlah Nehring is the Global Head of Partnerships and Transactions for Roche Diagnostics, based in San Diego, California. She leads a global business development team that spans APAC, North America, and Europe, supporting the entire partnering value chain for Roche Diagnostics. Her responsibilities include partnerships, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), alliance management, contract and controlling management, and business process support. Her team's mission is to ensure the growth and expansion of Roche’s portfolio by accessing external innovation for the benefit of patients and customers.
Ramlah holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, where she conducted her graduate studies in molecular genetics at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. She possesses extensive experience in driving strategy and partnerships, especially in deal sourcing, structuring transactions, and leading mergers, acquisitions, and licensing agreements.
Before joining Roche Diagnostics, Ramlah led the Corporate Development team at Foundation Medicine. Her professional journey includes experience in both therapeutics and diagnostics sectors, with leadership roles in strategy, marketing, product management, and business development. Throughout her career, she has primarily focused on enhancing oncology patient care through access to innovative diagnostic solutions.
