Sara is a marketing, communications, advocacy and corporate strategy leader with 20+ years of experience in healthcare. With a passion for science and insight-driven communications, she has led successful initiatives across therapeutic areas with large pharmaceutical companies, professional associations, biotechs and patient advocacy groups. Currently, Sara leads the team responsible for building on Sanofi’s deep legacy of global neurology leadership, driving external engagement strategies, infusing key patient & community insights into strategic communications programming and ensuring meaningful awareness efforts with audiences around the world.
- Putting science and people at the center of her work, Sara leads global communications strategy for Sanofi's Neurology franchise, encompassing investigational products, early pipeline assets and overall disease awareness initiatives.
- Sara has led the revival of the Sanofi’s neurology tone and voice, all while directing impactful communication programs, including product preparedness, scientific milestones, and thought leadership initiatives, to enhance Sanofi's position in neurology. Sara has spearheaded the shaping of the language around Sanofi's commitment to neurological disease research and treatment, partnering with key stakeholders including people living with neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory diseases and medical professionals.

- Notably, Sara spearheaded the development of More to the Story, a global influencer campaign focused on raising awareness of smoldering MS and its impact on daily life. Leveraging the voices of people impacted by MS and healthcare professionals, the campaign has garnered more than 5 million impressions globally.
- Specifically, Sara's work in data communications has led to an overall better understanding globally of smoldering neuroinflammation among medical professionals and people impacted by MS. She regularly represents Sanofi neurology in congress, industry, advocacy and community engagements. She has been with Sanofi for 2 years and previously held the Oncology Enterprise Lead role at AstraZeneca.
- Sara is earning her MBA at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School with a focus in Corporate Finance and Healthcare Management, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Clemson University
