As the Head of Patient Advocacy and Alliances at Comanche Biopharma, she works closely with advocacy groups, professional societies, and key stakeholders to ensure the patient perspective informs business strategy and clinical development. A preeclampsia survivor herself, Valerie is deeply committed to improving outcomes for those affected by the condition."
With 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Valerie has expertise in patient advocacy, alliance management, medical affairs, commercial operations, and product launch excellence. She is known for cultivating strong relationships and working across organizations to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Before joining Comanche Biopharma, Valerie held leadership roles at Novartis, The Medicines Company, and Pfizer, where she contributed to medical education, strategic commercial initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. Earlier in her career, she worked in higher education, focusing on student success and program development.
Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of Wooster and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University. She resides in Fishers, IN, with her husband and is a proud mother to grown twin daughters.
